Essence - Blue Addicted

Well hello there! I'm sorry it took me so long to post something new.. This weekend Gemma and Alisja came over and I did their nails! Gemma really REALLY liked this mani (< click!) so she wanted the exact same haha :D

Doesn't it look really cute? She loved it and I'm happy she did <3 I used Catrice Glamourista as a base, then  took the Essence white stampy polish and stamped her nails with Konad M65.
Alisja wanted me to do some water marbling but we didn't have a lot of time so we just did one nail on each hand, an accent nail. I used Essence - MY BOYFRIENDS JEAN'S, Paris Memories - White and the mysterious Cosmetica Fanatica polish for this marble!

close-up!

I think it worked out great and I'm happy they loved it <3 I love you guys!

Now, on to my nails :D Friday I went shopping and the first thing I saw was that the new Essence products were in the store! The blue crackle was gone already but I'll get it another time. Fingers crossed! I did pick up Blue Addicted, a blue jelly mixed with green and blue glitters, I think it's the closest dupe to Deborah Lipmann Across the Universe. I LOVE IT! It took 3 coats to be opaque, and I applied one layer of topcoat over it.

I don't own Across the Universe but from the pictures I've seen I can tell it's a really close dupe. It was a p.i.t.a to remove, ofcourse, but glitters will be glitters lol! I'm happy I got this, because I wasn't sure.. But then again, it was only €1,29 so why not give it a try? My try was a success.

What do you think of these 3 manicures?

Cosmetica Fanatica - #..?

Now this is an extraordinary polish.. It has no name and no number.. I just know it's from the brand Cosmetica Fanatica, lol! This polish is really similiar to DA Glam & Glitter 107 (< click!) but a bit darker.. It only needed 1 coat to be opaque but I used 2 to make the colour Are you ready for some pictureeeeees? Meet my short(er) nails.

Excuse the weird kittypic, Luna REALLY didn't want to go lie down and be cute haha :D I don't really know what to say about the nailpolish, it's very pretty, drying time is great and the price is even better (€1,-). Erhm, that was it for today tomorrow I have to go to school so I don't want to make it too late haha!

What do you think of my short(er) nails? I admit, it's not that much cut off but it feels so different..

Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdie!

Well hello there :D I really liked Bye, Bye Birdy last time I put it on but it went on a bit streaky and bubbly so I didn't make any pictures, but this time I did! So here are the pictures :D

normal light, no flash.

in sunlight, no flash

kittypic!

Did you know Bye, Bye Birdie has a bit of a shimmer? Here's a close-up!

How pretty :D

Do you remember this post? I really liked the combo so uhmmm.. Birdy got crackled, again!

normal light, no flash.

another kittypic!

I really like the colour, it's just such a shame the application isn't as amazing as the colour is.. The crackle is a bit different from last time but I like it! Less stripy :D

How do you feel about yellow nailpolish?

PS. This is my last day of summer vacation. Tommorow, I have to go to that building full of fun people and teachers (D:) again. To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to it...
PPS. This was my last post with long nails in a little while. I cut them short today because they were weak and  the layers were splitting. I bought some new treatment-stuff and I hope they'll work soon so I'll have beautiful , long and healthy nails!

Essence - 50 Irreplaceable

Hi! It's been almost a week since my last post and I'm really sorry about that but I didn't really have time to AND polish my nails AND write a blogpost. But today I had some time so here's a brand new blogpost for all my dear followers! About, erhhhh, 5 weeks ago I bought 2 new Essence colour & go polishes, Mellow Yellow and Irreplaceable. Today I would like to present you to... Irreplaceable! It's a beige-based nailpolish with gorgeous golden shimmery-glitter-flecks. Just absolutely stunning.

I love it. It applied great, was opaque in just 2 coats and it looks amazing.. Drying time? Erhhh.. 5 minutes! Price? €1,29. Now that's what I'm talking about. You can wear this with everything and it doesn't cost much. Why am I talking like I'm in a commercial..? I don't know haha I'm sorry!

Do you have this nailpolish? What do you think?

Salomé 29

Hello lovely ladies! Today I'm going to show you one of the polishes I bought in France. This is a teal polish from Salomé, wich I bought at a market for €1,- As always with teals, it's so hard to capture the real colour so I have this for you, wich shows you pretty much the excact colour:

Now, on to my nail pics! I used 2 coats of the polish and no topcoat.

normal light, with flash.

sunlight, no flash.

Then I stamped (yep, again) the flower design from Konad M71 with the white Essence stampy polish. Now I don't know if any of you have the same problem, but since my nails are longer I find it harder to stamp full-nail images. The bottom goes fine, but then the top.. My stamp doesn't even touch the top of my nail?! If you have any tips, help me because I messed up my ring finger and pinkie because of this haha..

normal light, no flash. excuse the stamping fail on the pinkie haha!

kittypic!

If you have any tips for me, leave it in the comments!

I'm back! (+ Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii I'm back from France :D It was great, but I missed Luna and blogging a lot haha! You know what, I'm just going to show you some pictures. Nope, not all 300, I promise (:

Biarritz

le Elize in Biarritz!

I saw this and just had to make a picture! Didn't went in though, my parents didn't wanted haha..

Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, great to make pictures, kind of boring inside though hihi.

Me and my sister in one of the "lollipops" outside the Guggenheim museum!

One of my favourite pictures, much better when it's bigger though, I'll post it on deviantart!

Fireworks in Maubouisson

Also one of my favourite pictures, fireworks in Maubouisson :)

I had a great time, definitely got a little tan as well haha! I bought sooooo many clothes but only 2 nailpolishes... A coral crackle from Claire's and a teal blue from erhhh.. the market! I made loads of pictures and even had to buy a new SD card, lol. My vacation was.. amazing!

Now, on to the nailpolish. I couldn't wait doing my nails again, all 3 weeks in France I left my nails naked (with hardener) so they could grow and strengthen and I guess it worked, they are longer and stronger haha! Here's 2 coats of  Catrice - Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans.

bottle picture, those glitters are so pretty :D
